Hi my name is Lisa Eagan. My husband Gary and I have been married for 27 years. I moved to North Scottsdale 32 years ago from New York and Gary is a Scottsdale native of 49 years. I have worked as an entrepreneur from a very young age in various endeavors. I have always been a self-starter and easily motivated and I love to encourage and motivate others and give others the inspiration to achieve all their goals and dreams.
My first endeavor with investing started out different than most. Instead of doing the traditional monthly rentals, I turned small apartment complexes into weekly rentals and rented smaller space by the week I wanted to maximize the cash flow from the same square foot. I created several ‘Cash Cow’ properties in Central Phoenix. After five years of heavy cash flow, I decided to sell everything as a business and buy more apartments but run them as monthly rentals. After collecting the first few month’s rent, I was elated because I was used to a much faster pace with the daily rent collections, higher turnover, daily advertising, daily showings, constant clean up of the apartments, and daily tenant problems to deal with. Instead I experienced a much slower pace with the monthly rentals then I was used to and was feeling a sense of relief and freedom after five years of the stress in the weekly rental business. Of course, I had an onsite property manager to help with all of this.
